2024's Top Wedding and Event Trends That We Are LOVING! (Part 1)

Every year, event trends come & go....

Here are a few of the Wedding and Event Trends of 2024, that we are absolutely LOVING!

(Part 1)... We can't help ourselves... we love them all!

Speakeasy-Inspired

Speakeasy-Inspired Wedding Receptions and After-Parties are all the rage right now.

The key to creating a true 'speakeasy vibe', is to nail these three things:

The Lighting, The Venue, and The Rentals (furniture, place settings, and glassware)

If you get those 3 things right, the rest will be a breeze!

Statement Aisles

Statement Aisles are having their moment, and we're here for it!

If your venue allows, opt for a non-traditional aisle silhouette. When an aisle ebbs and flows, it creates a strong visual impact as well as creating more viewing opportunities for your guests.

If Cousin Cora can't see behind 6 ft. tall Uncle Dan, she may have more vantage points with a curved aisle.

Curvy or Spiral, Candle-lined, or Full Red Carpet, statement aisles are visually appealing and well, ...let's be honest....

they're just more fun!

Bows

If you haven't noticed, Bows are making their comeback! Thanks to Love Shack Fancy, girls across the country are going BIG when it comes to Bows!

In 2024, we're putting a bow on it!

From Dinner Parties to Wedding Parties, and everything in between!

There is a BOW for every occasion!

The New Guest Dress Code

Love it or hate it, it's here and it's having its moment! 2024 is embracing the introduction of the "Attire" card to the invitation suite!

Black-Tie, Formal, Semi-Formal, and Casual have graduated to Full Color Palettes! Some Dress Code Cards even include their own QR code with more in-depth descriptions.

Whether it is Spring Florals, Bright & Bold, Bohemian Earth Tones, or a full color palette, it's giving us an excuse to buy a new outfit for the occasion!

High-Impact Florals

Here at 30A Tablescape and Design Co., we love nothing more than creating fabulous florals for our events!

In our opinion, florals can make or break an event design, so it's no surprise that Bold Floral Arrangements are trending!

Floral displays not only enhance a venue with color and texture, but they bring LIFE to your event, organically moving through the space to bring harmony from one element to the next.

Pops of Pattern

We're loving this trend for so many reasons! Have you gone through wedding season seeing a slightly different version of the same thing, over & over & over? ...Us too. That's why we love to throw patterns into our designs!

A big misconception is that patterns have to be bold and colorful. That couldn't be further from the truth. You can incorporate multiple soft patterns into your design and still have a soft, elegant feel.

But, we do love a statement pattern! If going with patterned linens is too much for you, try a patterned salad or dessert plate. Mixing in patterns creates depth and texture which also create volume in areas that might otherwise look empty.
